RESEARCH INTEREST: My research interests are focused on the structural and geodynamic evolution of the continental and oceanic lithosphere through the integration of geophysical and geological data. At present, I am actively involved with two seismologically-based research projects: (1) an integrated approach of active and passive source seismology for understanding the structure and evolution of the upper continental mantle beneath the mainland Scotland and, (2) Lithosphere-scale imaging of the South Caspian Sea integrating deep seismic reflection and gravity data.
